Collisa Lankford is a dedicated educator, community leader, and advocate for artistic expression and empowerment. A proud Queens, New York native, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Black and Puerto Rican Studies with a minor in Education from Hunter College–CUNY and has taught high school students in New York, Texas, and Georgia.
She is the founder of Just Arts, a nonprofit focused on providing marginalized youth with access to artistic education and creative opportunities. Collisa also serves as the Executive Director and Creative Director of the Athens Area Performing Arts Collective, where she fosters artistic excellence, inclusion, and community engagement.
Driven by equity and service, Collisa is deeply committed to mentoring future leaders and empowering young people to use their voices with confidence, integrity, and purpose.
