Tony Gonzalez

Tony Gonzalez is Assistant Director of Education for Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art and Storytelling. He is also a visual artist and sculptor who has painted two murals for New York Presbyterian Hospital and has had work in numerous New York City exhibitions. His political illustrations have appeared in the editorial pages of The New York Times, The New York Daily News and The Nation.

Aaron Simms

AARON SIMMS is a New Yorker from Cincinnati, and Inwood resident.  He is the Founder and Executive Producer of Inwood Art Works, where he has created and produced the Inwood Film Festival, Film Works Alfresco, Culture Hub and the Inwood Art Works Gallery. He has curated the gallery exhibitions:  Focus on Photography, Bridging the Invisible Divide, Taking Charge of Change, My Neighbor, the Artist, What the Word Needs Now, and Elevated Lines.   Among his theater credits, he has company managed the acclaimed Off Broadway runs of Cruel Intentions, Small Mouth Sounds, and Wrestling Jerusalem.  He has worked at Maximum Entertainment Productions, Snug Harbor Productions, Richards/Climan, Inc., Manhattan Theatre Club, Playwrights Realm, DR Theatrical Management, and ICM Partners.  He was the founding co-chairman of Northern Manhattan Arts and Culture and is the general manager of the York Theatre Company.  In addition, he is a union member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and I.A.T.S.E.   He holds a B.A. in Theater from Butler University, and an M.F.A. in Theater Management & Producing from Columbia University.  

Ally Pockrass

Ally is an artist, art historian, and writer in NYC. She received her B.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her M.A. in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. In addition to working with the arts, Ally is also an active member in her Jewish community and loves combining her passions of art and Judaism.
